Terms of Use
Last updated: 26 July 2026 · By using the @abbassakbot bot you agree to these terms.
This is an English translation
The Arabic version at abbassak.pages.dev/terms is the original and prevails if the two ever disagree. Both are updated together.
1) Who provides the service
“Abbas the Accountant” is an accounting bot on Telegram, built by DT+ — a Sudanese agency. Contact: +249 912 816 697, or /support inside the bot.
2) What the service does
- It reads transfer-receipt images and proposes the fields to you (amount, transaction number, date) — you are the one who confirms.
- It records cash income and expenses, produces reports, and helps you reconcile your ledger against your bank statement.
3) What the service does NOT do — read this carefully
- Abbas does not verify that any receipt is genuine. An image can be edited, and an automated read can be wrong. Every anti-fraud feature we have (duplicate reference warnings, flagging odd-looking things) is an assist, not a certificate of authenticity.
- Abbas is not a bank and not a payment intermediary. It does not move money, does not hold it, and cannot reverse a mistaken transfer.
- Abbas is not an accounting or tax adviser. Your ledger and your reports are your responsibility, as is any legal or tax obligation.
- Abbas is not affiliated with any bank or wallet; the bank and wallet names mentioned belong to their owners.
4) Your account and your responsibility
- You must be an adult (18 or over) and entitled to the business whose books you are keeping.
- You are responsible for who you give a cashier invite link to, and for every transaction recorded from their account.
- Do not send images or data you have no right to share.
- Using the service for any unlawful purpose, or attempting to breach it or load it abusively, is prohibited.
- Your right to use the service is personal to your business — you may not resell it or offer it as a service to others.
5) Plans and limits
There is a free plan and two paid ones (Pro / Max). The difference between them is usage limits only — no feature is locked on the free plan. The current limits are shown on the plans page and also inside the bot under /plan.
Those limits may change as the service develops. If we change them in a way that reduces what you have paid for, we tell you inside the bot before the change applies to your running subscription.
6) Subscription and payment
- Payment is by bankak transfer to the account shown on the subscription page, for exactly the amount requested.
- After you send the transaction number, the team checks the transfer on the account statement and activates the plan — usually the same day. A request is not activated automatically.
- Subscriptions run in calendar months and cover every ledger you own, including any you open while subscribed. The plan's limits (receipt images, AI reads, statement pages) are shared across all of your ledgers, not granted per ledger. Renewing the same plan adds its duration to what remains.
- You may upload the screenshot of your transfer with the request to speed up review. Abbas reads it automatically and compares the amount and reference against what you typed, but the automated read never activates a subscription — the decision remains with the team after checking the bank statement.
- Prices are in Sudanese pounds and do not include any bank transfer fees.
7) Refunds and cancellation
- We could not activate your plan? — if the team could not activate the subscription for any reason on our side, we refund you in full or extend your duration, whichever you choose.
- Transferred by mistake, or twice? — tell us within 7 days of the transfer and we refund the excess or turn it into subscription credit, whichever you choose.
- After activation: the subscription is non-refundable for the period during which the service ran. You can stop renewing at any time — simply do not transfer again.
- If we discontinue the service entirely, we refund the value of the remaining period of your subscription.
8) Availability
Abbas is a beta and we are developing it continuously. We do what we can to keep it running, but we offer no guaranteed availability percentage: there may be maintenance windows or outages at outside providers (Telegram, the reading services, hosting). Your ledger stays where it is, and you can export it as CSV at any time.
9) Suspension
We may suspend an account that abuses the service (automated loading, attempted breach, unlawful use, or a report of content it has no right to). If we suspend a paid account for none of those reasons, we refund the value of the remaining period. You may ask for your account to be erased at any time via /support.
10) Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any harm arising from use of the service does not exceed what you have paid us in the last 12 months. We are not responsible for a commercial decision you took on the basis of an automated read you did not check, nor for a loss arising from a transfer that turns out to be forged — confirming against your bank statement is your responsibility.
11) Intellectual property
The name “Abbas the Accountant”, its character and the design of the service belong to DT+. Your data and your ledger belong to you, and we use them only to provide the service to you (details in the Privacy Policy).
12) Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms. Material amendments are announced inside the bot, and the last-updated date is shown above. Continuing to use the service after the announcement means you accept the new version.
13) Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Sudan; any dispute is first resolved amicably by contacting us.
